What's New?
Network Security
Network Security

Unlike some network planners, we place network security at the forefront of our customers' I.T. Network design. No network is deployed or connected to the Internet without first undergoing rigorous testing with our data and network security models.

Securing your I.T. infrastructure is the same thing as securing your corporate data, which is our ultimate goal. If your business is connected to the Internet, then securing your corporate data should be one of the primary concerns of your I.T. department and corporate management. All I.T. management efforts are rendered useless if the infrastructre on which the data resides is not properly secured and monitored continuously.

There are many threats looming on the Internet these days. They range from viruses and worms to phishing scams and Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks.

Many corporate networks are not secure, and in some cases, are controlled by third-parties on the Internet whose intentions are less-than-honorable (a phenomenon known as hijacking ). Many corporate networks have been hijacked and not known it. Hijacked networks are also extremely vulnerable to crimes like Identity Theft .

At Neptune, our goal is to keep abreast of the latest black hat techniques, so we can deploy/update counter-strategies aginst the latest threats. We believe that prevention is the best medicine, so we are religious about keeping your perimeter defenses current.

Our Network Monitoring Service (netmon) and System Monitoring Service (sysmon) are one of the many tools that we use to ensure our customers' infrastructure security.
